Microsoft® Chooses Liaise for Round-the-Clock SharePoint® 2010 SocialFest Competition

Liaise is One of Seven Companies Selected to Develop New Social Enterprise Applications for SharePoint in Marathon Week-Long Coding Competition

SUNNYVALE, Calif.-January 22, 2010. Liaise will be one of seven companies working around the clock for one week starting January 25 to develop enterprise applications that leverage the social capabilities of Microsoft SharePoint.

Microsoft chose the companies they deemed to be among the industry’s most innovative emerging Enterprise 2.0 companies to test SharePoint’s rapid business application development platform at the first-ever SharePoint 2010 SocialFest. Held on the Microsoft Silicon Valley campus, the selected companies will build their applications on top of the SharePoint 2010 platform in the one week competition. At the conclusion of the week, each company’s applications will be judged by a panel of top tier venture capitalists, Fortune 500 customers and Microsoft executives. Liaise names Ray Villeneuve CEO

Sunnyvale, CA--December 9, 2009--Award-winning collaboration software company Liaise has named veteran technology executive Ray Villeneuve as CEO of the company.  Sidney Minassian, who co-founded Liaise and served as CEO since the company's inception, continues to serve on the executive team as Chief Liaison, responsible for strategic partnerships and business development and remains a member of the board of directors.

"Ray is just the person we need to take Liaise to the next level," said Minassian. "We looked long and hard for an executive with the right combination of skills, experience and character to move Liaise past its startup phase and into the big leagues. Liaise Wins Collaboration Category of The SiliconValley/San Jose Business Journal’s Emerging Tech Awards

Sunnyvale, CA--December 7, 2009—Liaise, whose software helps people stay on top of critical information buried in messaging systems like email, was chosen as the winner of the collaboration category at the annual Emerging Technology Awards presented by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal.   The award was presented on December 3 at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA.

The goal of the Emerging Technology Awards is to recognize the innovations and significant accomplishments of technology-oriented companies in Silicon Valley.  The winners were chosen from a record number of nominations, showing the depth of the valley's innovation even during rough economic times.
