TechCrunchIT: DEMO: Liaise Uses Email Collaboration to Track Your Various Projects
September 22, 2009
Email has quickly become the center of our daily working lives. Many people receive hundreds of emails a day full of information which needs to be sorted and prioritized. However, with such a high number of emails being received, people are bound to forget about projects or actions which need to be completed. This is where Liaise, debuting at DEMOFall 09, comes into play. Their product analyzes the content of your incoming and out-going emails, picks out information which needs action, and then sets up a management list based on this info.

WebWorkerDaily: Get More From Your Email with Liaise
September 22, 2009
By positioning itself between traditional project management apps like Basecamp and personal relationship management apps like Gist, Liaise thinks that it has found a useful niche, which it calls “business interaction management.” It claims that it can do this with a very simple setup, no change in work habits, and without depending on others to be using Liaise. The concept is intriguing: Using two components — a Windows desktop application and a plugin for Outlook 2003 and 2007 — Liaise automatically collects information about projects, deadlines and to-dos directly from incoming and outgoing messages.
